Terms of Service
The rules, in plain words.
Last updated 21 August 2026.
1. Who we are
Epica Invites is operated by Epica Brands LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. When we say “we” or “us” below, that is who we mean. When we say “you”, we mean anyone using the service — whether you are hosting a celebration or simply replying to an invitation.
2. This is early access
The service is new and still being tested. It may be unavailable, may change, and may contain defects. We provide it as is, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that anything you store here will be preserved. Please keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.
If something looks wrong, telling us is genuinely useful — here is how.
3. What it costs
Creating an event, inviting people, replying to an invitation, and attending are free, and the parts your guests touch will stay free. Some host features may cost money in future. If that ever happens, features that are free today will be clearly labelled beforehand and you will be told before anything is charged. We will not turn something you already rely on into a bill without warning.
4. We never handle money between people
The service does not process payments and never holds funds. Where a payment handle appears — for splitting a cost, or settling up after an event — it is a link or a value to copy, and the payment happens entirely elsewhere, between you and the other person. We are not a party to it, we cannot see it, and we cannot reverse it. Any dispute about money is between the people involved.
5. Your account, and replying without one
Viewing an invitation and replying to it never require an account. Hosting does. Sign-in works by emailing a short code to an address you control — keep access to that inbox, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian’s knowledge.
6. Your content, and other people’s
What you put into an event — its details, your photos, what you write — stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store it, and to show it to the people you have shared that event with.
If you host, you are responsible for the people you add. When you enter someone else’s name or email so they can be invited, you are confirming it is reasonable for you to have it and to use it that way. Do not upload other people’s photographs or details without their agreement.
7. An invite link is unlisted, not secret
An invitation is reachable by anyone holding its link. We ask search engines not to index invite pages, but that is a request to them rather than a lock, and a link forwarded into a group chat has been forwarded to everyone in it. Treat every invitation as unlisted rather than private, and think before putting a home address on one.
8. Things not to do
Do not use the service to harass anyone, to send bulk unsolicited messages, to post unlawful content or content you have no right to, to impersonate someone, or to attack, probe, or overload the service or the people on it. We may suspend or remove access, or remove content, if we believe any of that is happening.
9. Ending it
You can stop using the service whenever you like and ask us to delete your account and your events. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service — and if we ever shut it down, we will give reasonable notice so you can retrieve what matters.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for anything that happens at your event, for anything another person does on the service, or for money that changes hands outside it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Changes, and the law that applies
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so rather than quietly move the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States.
